Maine’s first methadone clinic has attracted far fewer drug addicts than the clinic’s owner originally anticipated.

But because the Discovery House clinic opened just 1 1/2 months ago, it may be too early to determine why there are only 36 clients and what that says about the number of heroin addicts in Maine.
