The Greeneville Sun – News Story – Tusculum Enacts Law On Substance Abuse Centers.

How ironic.  A methadone clinic or any other substance abuse treatment center is not able to be located 1000 feet from any school, daycare or church…..do they think that addicts don’t have children that go to school or day care or that addicts don’t attend church?  So they can freely enter and exit these facilities, but they can’t get treatment anywhere near them?  Not to mention, do these people realize they live near, play near and interact with addicts every single day at the grocery store, on the road IN THEIR HOMES>?  How are they more dangerous when they are getting treatment than any other time they are interacting with them?

How positively ignorant is that?

I know! What could we possibly do at a funeral home to disrupt lives?

Oh Kristan you’re so silly! Don’t you know that addicts all live under a bridge downtown? They don’t have children, go to church, shop, visit elderly relatives or any of those things because they are not really human beings (shhhhh).

My personal favorite is the ban against being close to a MORTUARY! We might wake the dead, you know!
