Please anyone out there that is still using or knows someone who is using: USER BEWARE of this dope. It hasn’t made the headlines that methadone deaths do because, in MY opinion, no one seems to notice or care when a thousand addicts die while using Heroin-but boy watch the rage ensue when people start overdosing on ILLEGALLY OBTAINED prescription drugs. I guess because when we think heroin a homeless man with a dirty face and a needle stuck in his arm is the image we conjure up. HOWEVER, when we think prescription opiates (the same addiction) we think nice young folks who have an injury and didn’t “mean” to get addicted. Apparently, people didn’t seem to notice or CARE when people were overdosing from heroin use…but when Oxycontin hit the scene everyone and their brother decided to fight the “scourge”.
OK, rant over.
